In this respect, we work together with Wesemann GmbH from Syke, the company whose products we sell. Wesemann guarantees the highest environmental standards through its EMAS certification and also meets the requirements of ISO 14001 certification.
The EMAS system comprises four central areas: “Material use and resource protection”, “Waste and recycling”, “Energy and emissions” and “Ecological process optimization”. At Wesemann, every new development is checked for its environmental compatibility.
In addition, our suppliers are obliged to use environmentally friendly techniques and materials and to provide evidence of this.
At Wesemann, furniture production is carried out with PEFC-certified wood to ensure the highest sustainability standards. The company also fully complies with the strict LEED requirements for environmentally friendly construction.
Wesemann is the first manufacturer of laboratory furniture to offer products with verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), setting a new benchmark for transparency and sustainability in the industry.
